They say nothing in life is free, but we think we may have finally found the exception. As giffgaff has just announced some new changes to their goodybags that means members will now get more data, at no extra cost.
The mobile network that prides itself on its non-committal phone contracts has unveiled that they're upping the data on the £10, £12 and £15 goodybags, which will be automatically applied to all eligible members accounts.
Anyone currently purchasing £10 goodybags will have twice as much data, with 3GB increased to 6GB, and can expect an email any day now confirming that their allowance has now changed.
Meanwhile, customers paying for 4GB of data with the £12 goodybag will see theirs increase to a whopping 10GB - that's more than twice what they had before.
As for anyone on the £15 goodybag, it's increasing from 8GB to 15GB - without a single penny being added to bills.

Any new customers that want to sign up to one of the brand's statement rolling SIM-only offers will also get the same extra data allowances, with all of the above plans also coming with unlimited minutes and texts too.
The big benefit of giffgaff's business plan is that you can change or cancel at anytime, and aren't trapped into a longterm contract you can no longer afford.
Elsewhere in the SIM only world, Three are still making waves for their impressive unlimited everything offer for £20 per month, whilst Virgin Media have 6GB data and 1500 minutes for £9 per month - although both of those offers only work on a 12 month contract, so in contrast to giffgaff's quit whenever tariffs, with Three and Virgin's deals you are tied in for a full year.
