Meanwhile anyone on the £25 Always On tariff would previously have received unlimited minutes and texts plus 20GB of data usage per month at full 4G speed, but now the data speed will be reduced after 40GB, rather than 20GB.
The offer is available to both new and existing customers and as well as the extra data, you'll also get unlimited calls and texts, plus free calls to all giffgaff numbers and Roam Like at Home capabilities.
giffgaff's generous deal follows new ' text to switch ' rules from Ofcom that makes switching phone networks easier for UK consumers, meaning that mobile network providers have to work harder to keep you.
