Giants worked out WR Alex Bachman on Monday

There’s a lot of trade talk in the air, but there are still other ways to acquire players and boost you roster these days. On Monday, free agent wideout Alex Bachman visited the New York Giants.

Bachman (6-foot, 190 pounds), who played his college ball at Wake Forest, was in training camp with the Los Angeles Rams as an undrafted free agent this summer and was waived/injured on September 5. He underwent sports hernia surgery and is now available to sign with another team.

Bachman ran a 4.40 40 yard dash at his pro day in March and caught seven passes for 171 yards in his final game at Wake Forest in the Birmingham Bowl versus Memphis.
