Giants waive three with injury settlements

The New York Giants have waived three players from the reserved/injured list with injury settlements.

Kenny Ladler, Henre Tolliver and Ronald Zamort, three defensive backs the Giants placed on the injured reserve list last Saturday during final roster cuts, were the players waived on Thursday.

Ladler (hamstring), Zamort (ankle) and Tolliver (ankle) were three of seven players designated waived/injured last week. The others were offensive tackle Victor Salako (shoulder), wide receiver Alex Wesley (foot/ankle), tackle Chad Wheeler (back) and linebacker Keion Adams (knee).

Depending on which source you subscribe to, the Giants are either $3 million over or $457K under the league’s salary cap. These moves will free up some cap space — approximately $1.2 million as per spotrac.com.
