Giants vs. Vikings Week 5 inactives: Who’s in, who’s out?

The New York Giants (2-2) and Minnesota Vikings (2-2) square off on Sunday afternoon from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey in a key early-season game for both clubs.

Both teams have officially announced their inactives for the game. Below is a full list:

New York Giants

  • RB Saquon Barkley (ankle)
  • LB Alec Ogletree (hamstring)
  • LB Tae Davis (concussion)
  • LB Lorenzo Carter (neck)
  • QB Alex Tanney
  • OL Chad Slade
  • OL Eric Smith

Minnesota Vikings

  • MLB Kentrell Brothers (wrist/hamstring)
  • CB Mackenzie Alexander (elbow)
  • WR Davion Davis
  • C Brett Jones
  • OT Oli Udoh
  • DT Armon Watts
  • DE Hercules Mata’afa

For the Giants, Wayne Gallman will once again start in place of Barkley with rookie Jon Hilliman serving as his backup. Additionally, David Mayo and Nate Stupar will start at the inside linebacker position with Ogletree and Davis out, and rookie Ryan Connelly having been lost for the season.
