Big Blue is, of course, coming off their loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday Night Football and hoping to bounce back in front of their home fans on Monday.

Here are three causes for concern ahead of Monday Night Football.

Injuries

The Giants were without two of their best players in Week 3 in Saquon Barkly and Andrew Thomas. Thomas missed his second straight game.

Even if the Giants expect to get both players back, they may not be 100 percent healthy.

The Giants were also without Azeez Ojulari last week for the second straight week. Pass rush will be a key for Big Blue in this one to make Gino Smith uncomfortable behind the line of scrimmage.

Hopefully, the Giants’ injury problems are getting better but it still may be a lingering issue in this one.

Daniel Jones in prime time

Daniel Jones has gone just 1-12 in his first dozen prime-time games in the NFL. He will undoubtedly need to play well on Monday to silence the critics.

Jones’ prime-time reputation is among the worst in the league and something the Giants will improve on Monday night.

Tackling struggles

Monday night’s game feels like one the defense will have to be clicking on all cylinders in order for the Giants to come away with a victory.

Sure, Xavier McKinney may have downplayed the Giants tackling issues early in the week, but they lead the league in missed tackles with 29 headed into Week 4.

When the Giants’ defense was playing well last season, they were not missing tackles. Especially not to the glaring degree they are so far this season.
