The New Orleans Saints (6-7) host the New York Giants (5-8) this Sunday at the Caesars Superdome in a matchup of two NFC playoff hopefuls.
The Saints are currently 6-point favorites in the game with an over/under at 39 total points. The money line as of Friday morning was Saints -275, Giants +225, per BetMGM.
There isn’t a ton of meat on the bone for bettors in this game as far as player props as the teams have struggled on offense at times.
Here are three prop bets for you to consider come Sunday.
Saquon Barkley OVER 67.5 rushing yards (-115)
Saquon Barkley is averaging 78.3 yards rushing per game, which is fourth-best in the NFL this year.
The Saints have allowed an average of 191.3 yards on the ground over their last three games — the highest in the league over that period.
This is a good opportunity for Barkley and a good opportunity for bettors as well.
Saquon Barkley OVER 89.5 rushing/receiving yards (-115)
The piggyback off of the previous wager, if Barkley hits his weekly average, all you’ll need is for him to gain 11 yards receiving to eclipse the number.
Barkley is averaging only 18.3 yards receiving per game this year — a career low — but the Giants might have to lean on him a bit more in this one, so it’s worth a shot.
Tommy DeVito UNDER 173.5 yards passing (-110)
New Orleans has only allowed 189.5 passing yards per game this season and just 157.3 over their last three — second-lowest in the league over that period.
DeVito has played well but he’s not exactly filling the air with footballs. He has averaged 198.3 yards passing over his first three NFL starts.
This one could be close, but DeVito might come down to Earth this week in the dome.
