Sunday night was the final dress rehearsal for the New York Giants as they wrapped up the preseason against the New England Patriots at MetLife Stadium.
Up next is the regular season opener against the Denver Broncos.
While the Giants lost the preseason finale against the Patriots, 22-20, some of the first-team players looked to be in mid-season form. Case in point: middle linebacker Blake Martinez.
Martinez made two tackles, one solo. He also recorded a pass defensed and an impressive interception of Patriots starter Cam Newton.

In 16 games for the Giants in 2020, Martinez had 151 total tackles with three sacks, two forced fumbles and an interception. The 151 tackles were the second-most Martinez had in his career.
