Giants vs. Lions Week 8 inactives: Who’s in, who’s out?

The New York Giants (2-5) and Detroit Lions (2-3-1) square off on Sunday afternoon at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan in a game that will unofficially end the 2019 season for one team.

Both teams have officially announced their inactives for the game. Below is a full list:

New York Giants

  • WR Sterling Shepard (concussion)
  • CB Corey Ballentine (concussion)
  • OL Chad Slade
  • OL Eric Smith
  • QB Alex Tanney
  • LB Devante Downs
  • LB Tae Davis

Detroit Lions

  • DT Mike Daniels (foot)
  • CB Darius Slay (hamstring)
  • CB Amani Oruwariye (knee)
  • OG Oday Aboushi
  • DT Kevin Strong
  • QB David Blough
  • OG Beau Benzschawel

For the Giants, Darius Slayton will draw the start in place of Shepard, but it’s Golden Tate who will take over for him in the slot.
