Giants vs. Cowboys: NFL experts make Week 1 picks

The New York Giants (0-0) will visit the Dallas Cowboys (0-0) at AT&T Stadium on Sunday afternoon in the first regular season game for both teams.

Opening the week, the Giants were listed as 7.5-point road underdogs and little has changed in that regard as we enter the weekend. With two days until kickoff, Big Blue remain hefty underdogs (+7).

Let’s take a look at who some of the experts and insiders around the league are taking in the Week 1 matchup:

Expert Pick Score (if applicable)
Mike Golic (ESPN) Cowboys N/A
Louis Riddick (ESPN) Cowboys N/A
Trey Wingo (ESPN) Cowboys N/A
Pete Prisco (CBS) Cowboys 30-16
Will Brinson (CBS) Cowboys N/A
Ryan Wilson (CBS) Cowboys N/A
Nate Davis (USA TODAY) Cowboys 28-20
Lorenzo Reyes (USA TODAY) Cowboys 28-17
Tadd Haislop (Sporting News)  Cowboys  27-14
Vinnie Iyer (Sporting News)  Cowboys  27-22

There you have it. . . a clean sweep for the Cowboys! The Giants should just pack it in and not even bother traveling to Dallas because they don’t stand a snowball’s chance in H.E. double hockey sticks.

Every single expert we pull from has the Cowboys winning with relative ease. Even those who were brave enough to throw down a score prediction have it heavily weighted in Dallas’ favor with the sole exception of Vinnie Iyer, who believes it will be a one-score game.

Giants Wire will have their staff picks out tomorrow, but in the mean time, how do you feel about this, Giants fans? Do you see it playing out differently? Sound off!
