Giants vs. Buccaneers Week 3 inactives: Who’s in, who’s out?

The New York Giants (0-2) and Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-1) square off on Sunday afternoon from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida in the first game of the Daniel Jones era.

Both teams have officially announced their inactives for the game. Below is a full list:

New York Giants

  • WR Cody Latimer (concussion)
  • DB Julian Love
  • QB Alex Tanney
  • OL Chad Slade
  • OL Eric Smith
  • TE Kaden Smith
  • TE Garrett Dickerson

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

  • LB Devin White (knee)
  • LB Devante Bond (hamstring)
  • CB Jamel Dean (ankle)
  • QB Blaine Gabbert (shoulder)
  • OG Zack Bailey
  • TE Tanner Hudson
  • OT Jerald Hawkins

For the Giants, wide receivers Sterling Shepard and Darius Slayton will be back on the field for Jones, although missing Cody Latimer would factor into the game more than some are letting on.

Additionally, it seems somewhat suspect that on a defense searching for answers, the Giants would make rookie Julian Love inactive without giving a single defensive snap over the first two weeks.
