Giants vs. Buccaneers: NFL experts make Week 3 picks

The New York Giants (0-2) will visit the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-1) at Raymond James Stadium on Sunday afternoon in the third game of the season for each team.

Opening the week, the Giants were listed as 6.5-point road underdogs and little has changed in that regard as we enter the weekend. With one day until kickoff, Big Blue remains underdogs (+6.5).

Let’s take a look at who some of the experts and insiders around the league are taking in the Week 3 matchup:

Expert Pick Score (if applicable)
Mike Golic (ESPN) Buccaneers N/A
Louis Riddick (ESPN) Buccaneers N/A
Trey Wingo (ESPN) Buccaneers N/A
Pete Prisco (CBS) Buccaneers 27-14
Jason La Canfora (CBS) Buccaneers N/A
Ryan Wilson (CBS) Giants N/A
Nate Davis (USA TODAY) Buccaneers 23-13
Lorenzo Reyes (USA TODAY) Buccaneers 23-21
Tadd Haislop (Sporting News)  Buccaneers  30-17
Vinnie Iyer (Sporting News)  Giants  24-20

Talk about lopsided. And if you think the 4:1 ratio above leans heavily in Tampa Bay’s favor, don’t even bother to look up expert predictions from beyond the 10 we pull from — it’s almost Buccaneers across the board.

And for those who were brave enough to make a score prediction, most have the Giants hovering between 13-20 points, which would be par for the course so far this season. However, The Sporting News guys have an interesting disagreement — one believes the Bucs blow out the Giants, while the other is envisioning an upset.

What say you, Giants fans? How do you see this one shaking out?
