The New York Giants are a legendary NFL franchise, having won four NFL championships and four Super Bowl titles throughout their history, and they’ve done so sporting some pretty classic looking uniforms.
But here in 2019, where do those uniforms rank among the other 32 NFL teams? USA TODAY recently pondered that very question and subsequently released their uniform power rankings.
Despite the legendary nature of the Giants’ current uniforms and their epic “GIANTS” throwback uniforms, they landed right in the middle of the pack.
16. New York Giants: Been nice to see the occasional return of the block GIANTS logo I grew up with and made famous by Lawrence Taylor. The resurrected ’60s duds are fine, too, though the G-Men look better in white pants than gray.
The Los Angeles Chargers, Pittsburgh Steelers and Oakland Raiders rounded out the top three, while the Arizona Cardinals, Cleveland Browns and Washington Redskins found themselves basement dwelling.
The new-look New York Jets checked in at No. 24 overall, with the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys going back-to-back at No. 7 and No. 8, respectively.
