Giants Twitter melts down following 35-17 loss to Cowboys

The New York Giants fell flat against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 1 of the regular season, getting the doors blown off them, 35-17, in an ugly showing at AT&T Stadium.

To no surprise, Giants Twitter reflected the frustration of the team following the loss, and fans, writers and analysts appeared to completely melt down — some to irrational levels and others with an even-keel.

More proof that Twitter should required an IQ test before allowing users to post freely, but I digress…

It should come as little surprise that the Giants giving up 35 points is somehow Eli Manning’s fault — since 2004, everything and anything has been Manning’s fault. It’s a lazy take and a default line of experts and armchair general managers who have nothing of actual substance to offer.

Prepare yourself for an entire week of this, Giants fans. It’s going to be a long one.
