Giants stick with Tristan Wirfs in final Daniel Jeremiah mock draft

NFL Network insider Daniel Jeremiah is not changing his tune as the 2020 NFL Draft looms. At least not when it comes to the New York Giants.

Jeremiah released his final mock draft late on Wednesday night and has Big Blue remaining in place at No. 4 overall, selecting Iowa offensive tackle Tristan Wirfs.

The Giants have needs all over the defense, but they must upgrade the O-line first.

Wirfs has become the consensus pick for the Giants almost across the board, which raises some questions about the legitimacy of those expectations.

Despite Wirfs seemingly climbing draft boards, there are some lingering (and growing) concerns about his ability to eventually transition to left tackle, which is where many believe the Giants would intend to play him down the line.

In fact, some believe Wirfs projects as a guard at the NFL level, which may impact his status on Thursday night. But time will tell where he goes and what the Giants are thinking.

For now, Jeremiah is sticking with Wirfs to the Giants as a tackle.
