Giants’ Sterling Shepard, Darius Slayton among 4 out vs. Cowboys

The New York Giants took the practice field on Friday for the final time ahead of a Week 5 game against the Dallas Cowboys and things were less than positive.

Despite head coach Joe Judge implying all players had a chance to suit up on Sunday, wide receivers Sterling Shepard (hamstring) and Darius Slayton (hamstring), and safety Jabrill Peppers (hamstring) were noticeably sidelined.

The same can be said for left tackle Andrew Thomas (foot), whose injury seems significantly worse than routine.

The former three have officially been ruled out. Thomas is questionable.

The Giants’ full and official Week 5 injury report can be found below:

Out: S Jabrill Peppers (hamstring), WR Sterling Shepard (hamstring), WR Darius Slayton (hamstring), OL Ben Bredeson (hand)

Doubtful: N/A

Questionable: OT Andrew Thomas (foot)

No designation: RB Saquon Barkley (knee), WR Kenny Gollday (groin), WR C.J. Board (clavicle), DB Nate Ebner (quad), TE Kaden Smith (knee), DL Leonard Williams (knee)

For the Dallas Cowboys:
