Giants’ Sterling Shepard, Corey Ballentine will play vs. Cowboys

For the first time since July, the New York Giants had all of their players on the practice field and participating in full on Saturday, one day removed from both wide receiver Sterling Shepard (concussion) and rookie cornerback/kick returner Corey Ballentone (concussion) being cleared.

And with just one practice under their belt, the Giants will finally have their full compliment of talent on Monday night against the Dallas Cowboys now that both Shepard and Ballentine have been given the green light — neither appeared on the official injury report.

It will also represent the first time rookie quarterback Daniel Jones will have wide receiver Golden Tate, running back Saquon Barkley, tight end Evan Engram and Shepard on the field together, which is a testament to what he’s been able to accomplish so far this season.

Meanwhile, cornerback Grant Haley (knee) was also a full participant in practice on Saturday and is good to go for Monday night.

Lastly, although he’s healthy and eligible to return from injured reserve, head coach Pat Shurmur told reporters that a decision has not been made on cornerback Sam Beal (hamstring) as of yet. He will be activated as some point, but with roster space at a premium, it may not come until next Wednesday — the deadline for him to be removed from IR.

If Beal is not activated by Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. ET for whatever reason, he will be lost for the season.
