The New York Giants swapped spots with the Jacksonville Jaguars in Round 1 of the 2023 NFL draft and with that pick, they selected Maryland cornerback Deonte Banks.
Banks provides the Giants some security and depth at the cornerback position, where he’ll likely start alongside Adoree’ Jackson. He also provides the Giants with some much-needed future value (Jackson will be an UFA next year).
