As we inch closer to Monday night’s NFC East showdown between the New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys, Big Blue is hoping to snap a four-game losing streak against their division rivals.
According to BetMGM, the line opened up Monday at +7.5 with the Giants being more than a touchdown underdog going. The spread currently remains at -7.5 going into the weekend. The over/under also hasn’t moved, remaining at 47.5.
Five of the Giants’ eight games this season have gone over that point total, including in Week 1 against Dallas.
The Giants opened the season up against the Cowboys and it wasn’t a pretty sight. Big Blue lost, 35-17, and didn’t look good in that performance. However, a lot has changed since then as the Giants have a new quarterback.
Hopefully, the Giants will have wide receiver Sterling Shepard back on Monday and Daniel Jones will, for the first time this year, have his full regime of weapons together for a game.
Since Jones took over the starting role he hasn’t had much time with his full plate of teammates, as Saquon Barkley, Sterling Shepard and Evan Engram have all missed time.
Big Blue will be looking to improve to 3-6 on the season and 2-1 against their divisional opponents when they battle the Cowboys on Monday night. This will obviously be no easy test as the Giants continue to be an underdog by just over a touchdown.
