Giants re-sign LB Nate Stupar

The New York Giants re-signed another one of their in-house free agents on Wednesday, inking linebacker Nate Stupar.

Stupar signed with the Giants last September after being released by the New Orleans Saints and was used primarily on special teams, where he excelled.

The Giants have been slowly but surely signing back their own players since free agency began March 13.

In addition to Stupar, Big Blue has opted to bring back long snapper Zak DeOssie, wide receivers Cody Latimer and Bennie Fowler, safety Antonio Hamilton and cornerback Tony Lippett.

Several players were signed before free agency: centers Jon Halapio and Spencer Pulley, fullback Elijhaa Perry, kicker Aldrick Rosas, quarterback Alex Tanney and tight end Scott Simonson. Wide receiver Corey Coleman was assigned a one-year tender.
