Giants pitcher Carlos Rodon was very busy with his feet during last night’s loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Earlier we showed you the video of Rodon angrily kicking a bat that ended up hitting his teammate Thairo Estrada in the leg. Rodon said after the game that he felt “stupid” for doing that.
While that was a dumb thing for him to do, he did something really cool with his left foot that led to one of the luckiest plays you’ll ever see in a baseball game.
I’m guessing he didn’t do this on purpose but I’m still giving him credit for this because it was pretty darn awesome:
