Hopefully Owa Odighizuwa's fake photo was a keeper, because it certainly cost enough real money.
The second-year defensive end was fined $12,154 for pretending to take a picture of Landon Collins in the end zone following Collins' 44-yard touchdown return in last week's win over the Rams in London.
He's the second Giants player this season to get fined by the league for miming a photo shoot. In Week 1 after Victor Cruz scored his touchdown, Odell Beckham Jr. was fined for snapping a make-believe picture of it. Beckham also was fined $12,154.
The difference, of course, is that Beckham makes much more money than Odighizuwa, who earns roughly $30,000 per week. Take away taxes (plus international taxes for playing in London) and his agent's fees and Odighizuwa took quite a bath for his Kodak moment.
So what kind of actual camera could Odighizuwa have bought for 12 grand? Well, in 2013 on eBay there was a limited edition 24-karat gold Nikon camera for sale for $12,000. And in June, Hasselblad launched a mirrorless camera for $12,000.
Instead, it cost Odighizuwa just as much for a fake camera.
