Giants offseason is officially (virtually) through

The Giants' full-team virtual offseason program wraps up on Friday. Veterans will be let go, and the plan for now is that they won't return to team work until they report for training camp in East Rutherford, likely in mid-July.

Rookies are scheduled to continue virtual work until June 26, mainly related to player development, though everything remains fluid as part of the ongoing discussions with the league and NFL Players Association.

July 30 is the Giants' tentative training camp start date, but the expectation is that NFL players will have to report to their respective facilities at least a couple weeks early to quarantine prior.

Rookies' report dates might get pushed even earlier, especially since this rookie class did not get to take all the typical pre-draft visits to team facilities, so that means even less familiarity with their new surroundings.

The Giants didn't get any players into their building prior to the quarantine so, for example, when first-round pick Andrew Thomas and Co. arrive, it will be most if not all of their first trips there.
