Giants of Jazz have been confirmed as one of the headline acts at the Cork Jazz Festival 2019.
Organizers confirmed the act would headline the annual festival which takes place on the October bank holiday weekend.
Joining them is Grammy Hall of Famer Martha Reeves and the Vandellas, 14-time Grammy nominee and 2018 Jazz Pianist of the Year Fred Hersch and Kurt Elling have all been announced as headliners.
Elling was recently described by The New York Times as "the standout male vocalist of our time".
1,000 music and creative artists from more than 20 countries are expected to descend on the Rebel County for the event with performances also expected from American Jazz fusion group Spyro Gyra, Northern Ireland's own Dr. Linley Hamilton Quintet and British soul legend Mica Paris.
The Metropole Hotel will be the central hub for the Festival, while the headliners will also be performing at venues as varied as the Everyman Theatre, Cork City Hall, Triskel Arts Centre, Cork Opera House and Firkin Crane.
