Giants now dead last in latest USA TODAY power rankings

The New York Giants have lost eight consecutive games, are 2-10 on the season, failed to win a single game in the months of October and November for the first time in franchise history, their quarterback is injured and their head coach is on the hot seat.

Not much is going well in East Rutherford these days, and that was reflected in the latest edition of the USA TODAY power rankings, where the Giants fell two spots to the literal basement.

Yes, the Giants are finally dead last in said rankings.

As injuries mount and drama around embattled Pat Shurmur builds, would you pick them over Cincinnati? Eight-game skid now league’s longest.

Comparatively, the Washington Redskins rose two spots to No. 26 overall, while the Philadelphia Eagles fell one spot to No. 19 overall and the Dallas Cowboys fell three spots to No. 14 overall.

That also came prior to Dallas’ Thursday night loss to the Chicago Bears, so expect them to slide even further.

Also, in the event anyone reading this cares, the New York Jets fell two spots to No. 21 overall, while the Baltimore Ravens remain in place at No. 1 overall.
