Giants nearly dead last in latest CBS Sports power rankings

The 2019 NFL Draft has come and gone, undrafted rookies have essentially found their summer homes and roster tinkering will be reduced to a minimum in the coming weeks and months.

For most NFL teams, their 90-man rosters are set and will remain in place until the conclusion of training camp when trimmed to 53 men.

Needless to say, when evaluating where each team currently rests, you’re pretty much getting the whole picture. And when it comes to the New York Giants, CBS Sports is not impressed.

In their latest league power rankings, the Giants check in at No. 31, barely edging out the Miami Dolphins to remain one step above the basement.

31. New York Giants

How long before Daniel Jones plays for this team? Does he play at all this season? Is it still Eli Manning’s team for 2019?

Comparatively, the Philadelphia Eagles check in at No. 7 overall, while the Dallas Cowboys and Washington Redskins land at No. 15 and No. 28, respectively.

Unsurprisingly, the New England Patriots own the No. 1 overall spot — a place they frequently reside in power rankings.

Finally, in the off chance anyone reading this cares, the Jets and Sam Darnold are ranked at No. 22 overall.
