Giants LB Josiah Tauaefa activated from reserve/COVID list

New York Giants linebacker Josiah Tauaefa was activated from the reserve/COVID list, per the league’s transaction wire on Wednesday.

Tauaefa was placed on the list just a day ago on Tuesday, but will now join the active roster. He should be competing for one of the depth spots in the linebacker room behind starters Blake Martinez and Ryan Connelly.

The Giants have several inside linebackers competing for spots on the roster once they are reduced to 53 players ahead of the 2020 season.

As Tauaefa gets activated, the Giants currently have no players on the reserve/COVID list.
