Giants’ Jermaine Eluemunor believes Myles Garrett will land in NFC East

As Joe Schoen enters his fourth offseason as general manager of the New York Giants, the task of closing the talent gap between his team and their division rivals will continue to be a theme.

This may be more difficult than ever with the Philadelphia Eagles back in the Super Bowl and the Washington Commanders having made it to the NFC Championship Game.

On Monday, a pair of big-name players, wide receiver Cooper Kupp and pass rusher Myles Garrett, became available via trade. Garrett, in particular, is one of the league’s best at his position.

Giants offensive lineman Jermaine Eluemunor shared his thoughts on the Cleveland Brown’s superstar requesting a trade. He believes Garrett will end up in the NFC East.

Garrett made it clear that he’s trying to go to a contender, so the Commanders and Eagles may be teams interested in Garrett’s services.

The Giants’ offensive line already has their hands full twice a year when they play the Dallas Cowboys and have to deal with Micah Parsons.

As for the Giants, they are unlikely to be in the running for Garrett given the price they paid in the trade last offseason for Brian Burns and the contract that followed.

Luckily for the Giants, their offensive line seems to be on the rise given how they played as a unit before the injuries that piled up midway through the season.

Regardless, playing Myles Garrett twice a year is something the Giants would rather avoid, especially with the talent on the rosters of their three division rivals.
