Giants injury report: Sterling Shepard, Corey Ballentine practice in full

The New York Giants’ list of walking wounded is thinning out and sooner rather than later, both wide receiver Sterling Shepard (concussion) and rookie cornerback/kick returner Corey Ballentine (concussion) will be back on the field for a game.

Could that come on Monday night against the Dallas Cowboys? It’s certainly a possibility.

Although both Shepard and Ballentine remain in league-mandated protocol, they both practiced in full on Thursday for the first time since suffering their respective concussions.

The overriding belief is that Shepard will be cleared by an independent doctor at some point this week, but Ballentine’s immediate future is a little less certain.

In addition to Shepard and Ballentine, cornerback Grant Haley (knee) was also participated in full on Thursday.

Below is the full injury report released by the Giants:

Full participant: WR Sterling Shepard (concussion), CB/KR Corey Ballentine (concussion), CB Grant Haley (knee)

Limited participant: N/A

Non-participant: N/A
