Giants fund program to assist with childcare of essential medical personnel

NFL teams have begun to reach out to their respective communities to assist in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic. And essential medical personnel in Bergen and Hudson County regions now have a free option for necessary childcare thanks to the New York Giants.

With doctors, nurses and other essential medical and hospital workers stretched thin due the high demand the virus is putting on the system, everyone needs to chip in and play a role.

What the Giants are doing here is just the tip of the iceberg of what could be needed to conquer the virus, but it’s another positive step in the right direction.

Along with every other NFL team, the Giants have removed their personnel from the road and closed facilities to most employees.
