New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning endured a tumultuous season in 2018 that saw him lead a team that had issues at just about every position on both sides of the ball.
Even with a somewhat strong stretch of games during the middle of the season, Manning was graded as the worst quarterback in the division by Pro Football Focus, which included both of the Philadelphia Eagles signal-callers ahead of him.
It shouldn’t be a surprise that Manning finished as the worst quarterback in the division in the eyes of PFF. With a struggling offensive line for the majority of the season, Manning was pressured constantly and his inability to manipulate the pocket led to several sacks.
Manning did show at times during the season he can still be a successful quarterback in the NFL when given enough time in the pocket. His arm strength isn’t what it used to be, but he can still make a majority of throws when given time.
The Giants have some big decisions to make this offseason when it comes to Manning. He still has one more year left on his contract, and the team must begin to look at life after the two-time Super Bowl MVP.
The Giants have several issues to deal with this offseason and one of their biggest decisions will come in the form of the 38-year-old Manning.
