Giants’ Deandre Baker sprains knee, avoids tearing ACL

New York Giants cornerback Deandre Baker sprained his knee during practice, but fortunately did not tear his ACL. The rookie currently has no timetable for his recovery. Sprained knees typically don’t take too long to recover from, so there’s hope the Georgia Bulldog will still start week one.

This is not the start Baker wanted to his NFL career, but it is much better than a torn ACL. The Giants reported Baker’s sprain is to his left knee and he’s currently day to day.
