Odell Beckham Jr. got to celebrate his selection as NFC offensive player of the week on Wednesday by spending it with the Giants trainers instead of on the practice field with his teammates.
Beckham sat out with a hip pointer, an injury he suffered during his most excellent performance in last Sunday's 27-23 victory over the Ravens.
Coach Ben McAdoo did not say if he expected his star receiver to play in this Sunday's game against the Rams in London.
"He's pretty sore," McAdoo said. "We'll take it day-by-day. He's with the trainers and we'll see how he responds when he gets up in the morning ... If he's ready to play in the game, he'll play in the game."
Beckham caught eight passes for 222 yards and two long touchdowns _ of 75 and 66 yards _ against Baltimore.
