The 2019 NFL Draft will be the biggest day in the lives of those players who get selected. As a result you’ll see some fancy looking suits and fashion statements from draftees that will undoubtedly turn heads.
So, there’s nothing that can possibly ruin the inevitable swag we’ll see on draft day, right?
Wrong.
The New York Giants and New Era have found a way to throw a wrench into all that: hideous draft day hats that all Giants draft picks will have to wear on-stage.
That’s right, Big Blue will have their newest players wearing these:
You’ve got to love this multi-colored masterpiece, which proudly displays the Giants’ colors in all their glory. This thing is one propeller short of truly making a lasting dent in the fashion industry.
Including the usual “NY” logo, the hat is white in front and on the brim, with red and blue extending from each side and meeting in the back. Apparently inspired by Julius Caesar, a wreath crown also encircles the entire hat.
