Giant 'swimming pool stadium' to open on Vegas hotel rooftop for epic pool parties

Las Vegas pool parties have quite the reputation for being epic - but one hotel in Sin City is taking things to a whole new level.

That's because the Circa Resort and Casino isn't opening just a standard rooftop pool, but a giant 'Stadium Swim' of SIX pools and two spas covering 15,756 square feet.

The huge amphitheatre will come complete with DJ booths, two swim-up bars and a giant TV screen measuring 135x41ft, where sports fans can watch live games, as well as other major televised events.

Oh, and no need to scramble to get a sun lounger. There will be over 300 loungers available for guests, not to mention the 30 cabanas and 'super cabanas' on offer, as well as eight VIP boxes.

For those feeling peckish, there'll be heaps of delicious snacks and dishes on offer - and of course, there's table service for those poolside holidaymakers who don't want to move.

And yes - there will be some incredible views of The Strip and downtown Las Vegas on offer too.

The six pools' waters will be temperature controlled so that no matter what the weather, they will be the ideal temperature for those who want to take a dip.

The pool will be open to hotel guests, but non-hotel guests can also gain access although they will need to pay an entrance fee. There will be options to hire sun loungers for the day, as well as the cabanas with table service.

Meanwhile, the Circa Resort and Casino itself is pretty impressive. It covers 1.25 million sq ft and boasts 777 rooms and suites, as well as a three-storey sports stadium-style theatre, and a two-storey casino.

The hotel was originally due to open in December 2020, but it has now opened its first five floors early. You can find out more on circalasvegas.com.

Unfortunately, a trip to Las Vegas isn't on the cards for Brits at the moment as, at the time of writing, the USA has introduced a series of new travel restrictions during the pandemic.

Under the current rules, British nationals cannot enter the US if they have been in the UK, Ireland, Schengen zone, Iran, Brazil or China within the previous 14 days.
