Major tour bus company Hato Bus Co., constructed a huge maze comprised of 60 sightseeing buses in its garage on Saturday, the first day of a four-day holiday. The maze is about 50 meters long and wide and can be visited and tried out through Sept. 22 by those who have signed up for the tour.

According to the company based in Ota Ward Tokyo, only one bus is in operation on weekdays this month and only three on weekends and holidays because of the novel coronavirus. From Oct. 1, however, it is expected that travel to and from Tokyo will be added to the government's Go To Travel domestic tourism campaign.

"I think [our buses] will gradually go back into operation," a company official said. "Our giant maze is a unique limited-time-only experience."
