Giant lions and gorillas arrive at Knowsley Safari for new LEGO brick exhibition

Knowsley Safari has officially welcomed the Ultimate Brick Safari for the first time ever.

The park’s Amur tigers, giraffes, meerkats and bush dogs have been joined by more than 80 animal sculptures - and they’re staying the whole summer holidays.

The enormous figures, made up of more than one million bricks, are now in place at the park ready for its launch tomorrow.

Visitors can get up close to models such as Tenzin the Tiger, a towering life-size Bengal tiger constructed from around 85,000 Lego bricks, and Earl Grey the Elephant, which weighs 1.2 tonnes.

The Ultimate Brick Safari also features silverback gorilla Gorman, a lion called Linus, Poppa and Pippin the Penguins, Ludo, Leo and Lily the lion cubs and Anthony the Antelope.

The large brick animals join the Amur Tigers, giraffes, meerkats, bush dogs and wolves at Knowsley Safari ’s Foot Safari.

The Ultimate Brick Safari is at Knowsley Safari from July 20 to September 2.
