Giant Lego animals are back at Martin Mere Wetland Centre as part of its summer activities.
Following a popular event a couple of years back, eight of the enormous creations will feature in this year's Lego Brick Animals trail, which has launched at the Lancashire venue, around half an hour from Manchester.
The sculptures include a frog, an owl, a kingfisher, a dragonfly, a nene, an otter, a stork and finally a mallard.
Visitors will be able to see the brick birds among their real life feathery friends as well as picking up a paddle and canoeing round the safari and enjoying the pond dipping activities.
Centre manager Nick Brooks said: “We’re delighted to announce that we’ve been accredited with the 'We're Good to Go' stamp of approval and all of the activities we have put in place have been designed to ensure everyone’s safety is a priority.
"This includes a new self-service jetty on the canoe safari and ‘do it yourself’ pond dipping.
"We are limiting numbers to the site and everyone must book in advance to ensure a safe and fun day out for everyone over the summer holidays.”
‘We’re Good to Go’ is a UK-wide industry standard, which has been developed in partnership with Visit England, Tourism Northern Ireland, Visit Scotland and Visit Wales.
The accreditation means visitors can be sure venues are following government and public health guidance for managing coronavirus risk. These measures include managing numbers on site, ensuring social distancing and thorough cleaning regimes.

Visitors are also able to pick up a bag of grain on arrival to feed some of Martin Mere’s favourite birds, balance over the stepping stones, explore the wetland walks and let off steam in the play area.
Takeaway drinks and food are available from the kiosks, or you can take along your own picnic.
The centre is open from 9.30am to 4.30pm and tickets must be booked online here.
