Giant inflatable dinosaurs spotted walking down busy Liverpool street

Two giant inflatable dinosaurs were spotted walking through Kensington last night to the bemusement of passersby.

Stacey Morgan, 43 noticed the giant inflatables while driving with her daughter on Tuesday, January 19.

The Liverpool mum, who shared the video online was gobsmacked by what she witnessed and decided to film the pair as they made their way down the street in the rain.

Speaking to the ECHO she said: “I don’t know who they were but someone has just commented on my post saying they are teachers giving work out to the kids.

“I was just driving with my daughter and spotted them walking. We noticed they were play-fighting, so I told my daughter to stop the car and I just got out and followed them.

“I don’t know where they’ve come from but when we got back in the car they just carried on walking, I’ve just got no idea who it was.”

The giant inflatables caused quite a stir as they waved and entertained onlookers as Stacey added: “People were just amazed and if you look on the video there is a guy who goes to walk out of a chicken shop and he goes to step off the step and he looks and sees them and steps back.

“It was just really funny, I laughed my head off and they weren’t deterred by the rain either.

“I was gutted the baby wasn’t with me, she would’ve been made up. I showed her the video and she was laughing.

“I’m hoping to see them out again. I’m going back later to see if I can find them. There might be other animals out there, you never know.

“It’s just a little bit of fun in lockdown isn’t it. No one can do anything, so it was good to have a laugh and I hope it brings a smile to people’s faces.”
