Giant cruise liner Mein Schiff 3 visiting Liverpool today

One of the largest cruise ships to visit Liverpool can be seen at the city's cruse terminal today (Monday).

The mega cruise ship Mein Schiff 3, operated by TUI Cruises, is on a 12-day round-Britain voyage, which began and will end in the German port city of Bremerhaven. Before arriving in Liverpool, the vessel has visited locations in Scotland, and has just come from Belfast.

After its stay in Liverpool, the ship's next stop will be Guernsey in the Channel Islands.

Mein Schiff 3 boasts luxurious amenities across 15 decks, including nine restaurants and bistros. The eight-year-old ship holds up to 2,500 passengers as well as 1,000 members of staff.

She has more than 1,200 cabins and last visited Liverpool in June. Mein Schiff 3 is one of six identical sister ships. which are all numbered from 1 to 6.
