Giant cannabis farm so big it takes up four floors found in East End Park in Leeds

A large cannabis farm has been discovered by officers in east Leeds.

West Yorkshire Police raided a property in East End Park on Sunday, June 27, after being tipped off by suspicious residents.

At the property, cannabis plants and growing equipment was found by the officers across four floors.

The plants were then seized and will be destroyed.

A spokesperson for the force has now said the investigation is ongoing.

They said: “Officers attended the address to conduct enquiries, a large cannabis farm and cultivation equipment was located across four floors inside the property.

"The plants were seized for destruction and the investigation is ongoing at this time.

“Information from the local communities we serve plays a vital role in tackling and addressing anti-social behaviour and criminality. If you have any information, we urge you to get in touch, reports can be made by contacting 101 or can be reported online.
