Front-row forwards Taniela Tupou and Allan Alaalatoa have each made Australia 's squad for the end-of-year Test against Wales on Saturday having been passed fit following head injuries.
'Tongan Thor' Tupou will be a welcome sight in the XV for Wallabies fans after he suffered concussion against Scotland a fortnight ago, while 52-Test veteran Alaalatoa makes the bench having also been injured in Edinburgh.
Loosehead prop James Slipper will captain Australia in Michael Hooper's absence after the usual skipper was forced off during last Saturday's 32-15 defeat to England.
James O'Connor will continue in the No. 10 jersey following Quade Cooper's withdrawal to remain in Japan, while Racing 92's Kurtley Beale has been retained at full-back to start.
Fiji-born Filipo Daugunu is something of a surprise sight on the wing as he's set to make his first appearance since July, while centre Lalakai Foketi is set for an international debut off the bench.
The New Zealand native, 26, has shown some impressive form since joining the Waratahs in 2018 and could get his first sight of international action since his days playing for the Wallabies juniors.
"It's the balance of the bench," head coach Dave Rennie said on Thursday. "We're keen to have a specialist midfield cover and Lalakai's been excellent, made massive shifts.
"We've often talked about him around a position on the bench but based on what we needed it hasn't worked out.
"He's been really good so he gives us genuine cover. We feel like Tom (Wright) can cover the back three and Kurtley's been with the group for a while now so we're confident he can jump into ten and run the ship."

While Australia are still seeking a maiden win on the European leg of their tour, Wales are coming off the back of their first seasonal win having weathered a storm to beat Fiji 38-23 last Sunday.
That's after the Wallabies struggled to threaten England's line as much as they would have wanted at Twickenham, leaving O'Connor responsible for all their points off the tee.
Losing Hooper to injury was a major blow ahead of their final fixture of the year, but Rennie was confident in deputy Slipper to deliver in his stead.
"It’s great to have Taniela and Allan back in the mix this week, they bring a level of experience that will be key for us against a tough Welsh team," he added.
"Slips is hugely respected in our mob and a strong contributor to our leadership group. He was the obvious choice to lead us in the absence of Hoops."
Wales have won their last two meetings with the Wallabies and will attempt to clinch three in a row for the first time since 1975.
Head coach Wayne Pivac made seven changes to his XV ahead of Saturday's duel, with the likes of Josh Adams, Aaron Wainwright, Uilisi Halaholo and Wyn Jones promoted back to the starting line-up.
Australia triumphed in 13 consecutive clashes with the Welsh prior to 2018, which included a streak of eight successive wins at the Principality Stadium.
