It was no ordinary three points on his way to a game-high 48 points in the Hawks’ 116-113 road win over the Bucks in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals Wednesday. It takes a lot of gumption to focus even more attention on a stage that big. The moment wasn’t too big for Young.
Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo said he didn’t take the gesture personally.
“He’s just having fun,” Antetokounmpo said. “He’s enjoying the game. Obviously, I didn’t want him to make the shot. He’s having fun, enjoying the game. We are going to do the same as a team. We are going to have fun. We are going to enjoy the game. There are going to be times when (our guys) shimmy or I might. It’s just part of the game. You can’t take that personally.”
