Giannis Antetokounmpo wowed NBA fans with incredible chase-down block a week after his injury

In the days leading up to Tuesday’s Game 1 of the NBA Finals between the Bucks and Suns, it appeared that Giannis Antetokounmpo wasn’t going to be able to play — and understandably so.

After all, he suffered a scary hyperextension of his knee just six days ago in a Game 4 loss to the Hawks.

Well, Giannis’ knee must have super healing powers because in a matter of hours, the Bucks star went from doubtful for Game 1 to questionable to going through full warmups and back in the starting lineup.

It’s one thing for Giannis to tough out a knee injury in his first NBA Finals game. It’s another to come back six days after hyperextending his knee and really looking like the same player he was before the injury.

That couldn’t have been more clear than when Giannis chased down and blocked Mikal Bridges’ layup attempt.
