Giannis Antetokounmpo was pleasantly surprised nobody recognized him on a late night trip to the grocery store

Giannis Antetokounmpo will forever be a legend in Milwaukee.

Not only did he deliver the Bucks first championship in 50 years, but he did it by giving us one of the best Finals performances we’ve ever seen. Literally. This dude is a legend.

So you’d think that, everywhere he goes in Milwaukee, there would be at least one person who recognizes him. But, apparently, that isn’t the case.

The Bucks’ superstar made a late-night grocery run on Wednesday and, as it turns out, absolutely nobody recognized him in the store. No one. Not a soul. He just peacefully grocery shopped in the store.

I’m unsure how this is actually possible. I mean, sure, he has on his mask (shoutout to him for that) his hoodie. But here’s the thing — he’s also 6’11. That’s a massive human. And I can only imagine there are but so many massive humans of this nature in Milwaukee.

But, hey. It’s fine. It’s probably good for Antetokounmpo to have a peaceful moment like that. He certainly seemed to enjoy it.

And that’s pretty cool, too.
