Giannis Antetokounmpo won the MVP on the court during the All-Star Game last weekend. But he may have also won the game off the court, with silly antics and a fun-loving attitude.
If you think that sounds goofily wholesome but also purely entertaining, then, well, that’s what it was. The NBA put a microphone on Giannis during the game, which he and Team LeBron won (and The Greek Freak got MVP). His viewing experience, at times, was just like us, with him saying, “Guys, I know it’s the All-Star Game, but get back on defense.” And then, of course, there were the moments when he was knocking down all 16 of his shots, including his finale: a banked 3-pointer. His reaction was awesome.
