Following the Milwaukee Bucks' victory over the Boston Celtics, Giannis Antetokounmpo is undergoing testing on his left calf after sustaining an injury during the game. The Bucks' coach confirmed that Antetokounmpo is undergoing an MRI exam on his calf and will also have his Achilles tendon tested for any potential damage.

The injury occurred late in the third quarter when Antetokounmpo was heading up the court after a 3-point basket by Boston’s Derrick White. The two-time MVP grabbed his left calf, prompting concern among his teammates and fans.

Reports from Bucks officials indicate that Antetokounmpo has a left soleus strain, which is a muscle in the calf. This injury comes at a crucial time for the Bucks as they are preparing for the upcoming playoffs with only three games left in the regular season.

Teammates expressed their concern for Antetokounmpo, emphasizing the importance of his presence on the team. Khris Middleton mentioned the need for Antetokounmpo to be as close to 100% as possible for the playoffs, indicating that his health is a top priority for the team.

Antetokounmpo has faced previous injury challenges this season, having missed games due to tendinopathy in his left hamstring and left Achilles tendinitis. The team is hopeful for his swift recovery and return to the court.

While the exact timeline for Antetokounmpo's return remains uncertain, the Bucks are eagerly awaiting his recovery to have their key players back on the floor together. Coach Rivers expressed a high level of concern for Antetokounmpo's injury, highlighting the significance of his presence on the team.

As the Bucks navigate through this setback, fans and teammates alike are hopeful for a speedy recovery for Giannis Antetokounmpo to lead the team into the playoffs at full strength.
