Giannis Antetokounmpo seemed to be extremely unhappy with Trae Young’s shimmy 3-pointer

Trae Young completely showed out against Milwaukee Bucks in his first Conference Finals game ever.

He had a huge game with 48 points, 11 assists and 7 rebounds, but it wasn’t just the gaudy numbers. It was how he was getting them that really made the game special.

He pulled out all the stops from extremely deep 3-pointers to killer crossovers to even lob passes off the backboard. Trae was just deep in his bag against the Bucks. It was like he wasn’t even playing in a Conference Finals game.

But one play just had everyone’s jaw on the floor. It was the shimmy he hit before draining this 3-pointer on Jrue Holiday.

Bucks fans were mad. Big mad. So was Giannis Antetokounmpo who had a word with his teammates in the huddle about the shimmy afterward.

Young was asked about the shimmy after the game and why he did it. His response was perfect.

“I had a lot of time. I was kind of tired a little bit. I got a little second to get a deep breath and I knocked it down.”

WHEW. This is getting spicy already. Give us game 2, ASAP. We need it. Now.
