Last year, Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo won MVP, and he didn’t want people to call him MVP (we’ll go back and get into that in a second).
This year? He won it again — announced a little earlier than expected thanks to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski — becoming the first back-to-back MVP winner since Steph Curry in 2014-15 and 2015-16.
And he’s still on refusing to be called MVP again.
In 2019, he told the Bucks fans he didn’t want to be called Most Valuable Player until he won it again in 2020. And it’s pretty cool that he did it again with that in mind!

Turner’s Ernie Johnson pointed that out to the Greek Freak on Friday and Antetokounmpo responded this way: “Don’t call me two-time MVP until I’m a champion.”

Giannis, when asked about his future: "As long as everybody's on the same page and as long as everybody's fighting for the same thing, fighting for the same thing every single day, which is to be a champion, I don't see why not to be in Milwaukee for the next 15 years."
