Former Chelsea star Gianfranco Zola believes Ruben Loftus-Cheek has the potential to be an 'incredible player' if he can return to full fitness.
The England midfielder hasn't played for Chelsea in over a year after suffering a long-term Achilles injury in 2019.
However, the midfielder had shown under Maurizio Sarri the ability to score goals and break forward from midfield.
Frank Lampard's commitment to youth could also play into Loftus-Cheek's hands to fulfil his potential, although he could be competing with Mason Mount for the advanced role in Chelsea's midfield trio.
However, when Zola was quizzed on which players excite him to watch in the Premier League the most, the former Chelsea man listed Loftus-Cheek and believes he has the ability to make a real impact in the top-flight.
"There's so many right now in the Premier League that are exciting to watch," Zola told Sky Sports' Football Show.
"The front players for Liverpool, many others. I like [James] Maddison a lot from Leicester, he's a player that has very good potential.
"I also like very much last year Ruben Loftus-Cheek. He's a player that, if he can recover his physical potential, he can be an amazing player. Players like Hazard was special last year, he was unbelievable.
"There is one player that is a game-changer and that de Bruyne for City. He knows how to do everything, he can set people for assist, he can score, he can defend, he can build the player. I think he's becoming an amazing player."
